Starting in San Francisco, California I rode my bicycle across the United States. After 3750 miles, myself and two close friends finished our journey in Charleston, South Carolina. I documented the landscape and the way I saw that it had been sculpted by the people as well as the way that the people had been sculpted by the landscape.
We ate nearly the same food every day and slept where we could find shelter. The vulnerability of living on the road made even simple things seem precious.
