From the Archive: Tim Hussin in New York

Lips, Love and a Toothbrush.
Load it up, we’re ready to roll into the purple night. There will be dancers, beetles and demons. Car rides, train rides, stairs and urinals. Whiskey and punch. There will even be a band.
Buildings will rise and the same will fall. We’ll contemplate models until freedom reigns. Lady liberty won’t be happy, but just tip her a dollar and we’ll see her beautiful face, in the red room. The light streaking across her angelic figure.
But why wait at the end of the stair? Look up, take a ride.
Life is poetry.
